Although there was some concern that Halo Infinite would be skipping Gamescom, we luckily got a few details and reveals during the Opening Night Live event. If you were wondering when Halo Infinite will release, as well as what Halo Infinite hardware will be available, this article is for you!
Season 1 Multiplayer Cinematic Intro
The first part of the Halo Infinite presentation featured the Season 1 Multiplayer Cinematic Intro. Showing a brief look at Spartan Commander Agryna's past and how it shaped her in the present, this cinematic introduces Season 1 of Halo Infinite's Multiplayer. There's not too much here that directly influences Halo Infinite (aside from the obvious fact that it introduces Season 1), but it is worth watching in its entirety.

Today, Joseph Staten confirmed that Halo Infinite's single-player Campaign and free-to-play Multiplayer will launch together on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. It's been a very long wait, but we're nearly there. The time at which the game will release is still unclear, as it is listed as either 0:00 GMT on December 8, 2021 or 18:00 GMT on December 8, 2021, depending on where in the Microsoft Store you look.

Alongside the Halo Infinite release date, the Halo Infinite Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 was announced.
Retailing for $199.99 USD, this controller features a custom color scheme reminiscent of the Master Chief's armor. In addition to all the features of your typical Xbox Elite Controller Series 2, purchasers will receive a code for a weapon charm in Halo Infinite that looks like this controller.
Xbox Series X - Halo Infinite
The final announcement at Gamescom Opening Night Live was the Halo Infinite edition of the Xbox Series X.
Retailing for $549.99 USD, this Xbox Series X comes with a custom color scheme and a digital copy of Halo Infinite's Campaign. To our knowledge, this console does not come with any in-game items for Halo Infinite.
